With pleasure we would like to introduce Mr. Hari Malla as your host and the owner and Managing Director of Tibet Peace Guest House. It has now been almost 23 years that Mr. Malla had acquired a property named Squib Cottage and renovated it. He gave it a new name - Kathmandu Peace Guest House. After 3 years in operation, it was sold an Indian businessman who changed its name to Glacier Dome Rest House.
Malla was so passionate about his sold property that about 12 years later he reclaimed it, changed its name once more to the current name. Since then, he has been running it quite successfully both in terms of income and reputation. |

As a clear example of his dedication, he was not deterred by the Maoist war and conflict that took over the entire nation for over a decade. Instead, he invested more time, money and efforts to sustain his guesthouse, thanks to his commitment.
Mr. Malla is a nature lover and admirer of Nepalese arts, culture and literature. Our guests who get to know him in person get befriended with him without knowing and keep in touch even after returning to their countries. |
